Clarification Regarding MAC Capital Limited and Star Capital (DIFC) Limited

The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) has recently received enquiries concerning the regulatory status of MAC Capital Limited (MAC Capital) and Star Capital (DIFC) Limited. MAC Capital was licensed by the DFSA on 27 November 2007 to provide certain financial services in or from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC):Public-Register/FirmOn 27 October 2013, the DFSA withdrew the licence of MAC Capital at MAC Capital’s request. MAC Capital is no longer licensed to provide financial services in or from the DIFC, but had a commercial licence to operate in the DIFC.
