The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) alerts the financial services community and the public to a scam in which a DFSA Authorised Firm, GSB Capital Ltd, has been impersonated once again.

The scammers have set up a fraudulent website (“https://getmyloans.info”, which is no longer available) and have used the following information without GSB Capital Ltd’s permission:

•   GSB Capital Ltd’s name; and
• GSB Capital Ltd’s employee names.

This is the second time that the scammers have used GSB Capital Ltd’s name to run the fraudulent activities. The scammers also used GSB Capital Ltd’s employee names to validate the scam.

The DFSA strongly advises you not to respond to any communications regarding the above scam, and under no circumstances should you send or give any money to any party connected to the scam.
